I am from a Bhramin Family and it is said that only Bhramin Boys, I mean Bhramin Male Person can chant the Gayatri Mantra... Is it true?
I personally do not believe it as Gayatri Devi, herself a woman..
and I also believe that anyone can chant Gyatri Mantra there is no caste bar because all humans are equal to GOD..GOD has not created any caste bar, it is created by humans....

You have told that one has to follow only one matra for Meditation. I am following only one Mantra for 15 mins meditation also I am doing prayers for 15 mins. I just want to ask you whether it will be more beneficial to take 30 mins of Mantra meditation and Skipping the prayers or shorting them to say 2 mins. I mean creating "ONE STRONG HIGHWAY IN BRAIN RATHER THAN TWO OR THREE" What is the correct way to follow? Kindly Advice.

@TheDvaita Prayer is also very good. It may help to prepare for your meditation and also serves other purposes. Main thing is not so much how much time you meditate on the mantra, but how concentrated are you... So if the prayers help in that, then do not cut them too short.
