Ford 555 Backhoe -- excavating

Our house plan includes a 9' x 24' root cellar. Although I dug the hole for the cellar last year, I was unable to get the root cellar built. Dirt washed in over the winter. So, I borrowed a friend's Ford 555 backhoe to clean out the hole in preparation for pouring the cement footers and floor next week.

is that a 655 or a 555 and does it have 4 control levers in the back?

It's a 555 with 2 control levers for the hoe, plus one on the floor for the extenda-hoe (used with the left foot).

could you please tell me the reach of the hoe from swing post to tip?.. when fully extended. I haven't had good luck finding specs for these machines online
