I'm from Sheffield, originally but was in Leeds for a while. where are you? I moved here to get married. Coney Island is actually in New York City, at the very far southern tip of Brooklyn. From Grand Central, it would maybe take 45 minutes on the subway. Not very far at all! I have some pictures that I took on a couple of occasions I was there (one of which was the day I shot this bit of film). I'll have to dig them out and send them to you. Rik

Oh cool. I've never heard of the film - I'll have to give it a go as I love Coney Island. I'm from the UK too (now living in New York). Coney Island is, sadly, a bit in limbo at the moment since Astroland closed last year. The Cyclone and the Wonder Wheel are still going and there is a popular movement to get the place suitably revived and developed and not allowed to be destroyed by evil money-hungry developers like Thor Equities.

@69moondog69 Haha, it does! You'll be pleased to hear that the park at Coney (including The Cyclone and the Wonder Wheel) is up and running again. It was reopened this summer under a new/old name "Luna Park" and it's looking quite nice.
The other thing about watching the film was that I now understand all the samples and stuff in PWEI's "Can U Dig It?". It's only taken me 21 years :)
