The Clash, supposedly interviewed in New Zealand around February of 1982. This is possibly the last interview featuring Topper who leaves abruptly during the interview.

  • Topper? Was he always the quiet one ?

  • @TheGazzaful I'd say Paul was the quiet one.

  • what is the name of the song?

  • @cla5h88 "Whose Gonna Shoe Your Pretty Little Foot " apparently.

  • I know alot of you feel it's sad that the clash split, including me but at the same time we've gotta' be grateful we had such a great band that not only created great music but that also inspire other great bands and spread a message, that up til then hadn't been spread. You've gotta' be thankful for that I feel :)

  • Awesome vid! Love it! Joe and Mick look inseperable. I can't help but notice how fed up and annoyed Topper looks. I do love the smirk on Paul's face. So cute. Awesome, awesome, awesome, awesome! Thanks for the upload!

  • He didn't leave abruptly. He said, I'm gonna go sunbathing, and he left in quite a leisurely fashion.

  • If I feel down about the corruption and the stupidity in the world I always know I can turn to the Clash. They are an inspiration. I got politicised because of them and I'm know I'm not the only one. May their music and their legacy live on forever. All Hail The Clash!

  • I think they all look like they're having a good time & they really believe that they're in it for the long haul. It's crazy to think that this is the same year Topper would get sacked, followed by Mick the next year. It's like this was the calm before the storm. Really sad... They had so much left in them, especially Joe, who seemed to take it the hardest after the split. I'm still grateful for everything they did, however short-lived it was. It remains some of the greatest music of all time.

  • maybe the last good clash interview

  • This is really fantastic. They are at such peace. In spite of any problems, they are just out in New Zealand, away from the rest of the world just relaxing. Just friends out in New Zealand, no need to put on anything for anybody. Thanks for this upload.

  • haha topper is so funny, he is like some sculpt!;)

  • Is it at Wellington railway station? my home town, I would have been 9!
