HI Joey. I just received the Voicetone Create XT today and have been playing with it. First I wanna say..what a great little tool. I do have a couple questions. I work in a high school and my kids are putting on a variety show..and some want to "hard tune" their live vocals for a Lil Wayne song.....what could you suggest as "settings" for this sound on the Create XT? Also. let's say I want to use preset 35..how do I get preset 35..as the digital readout only goes up to "9" when I am tapping

do you need to play guitar to hit different notes? or can you select a key and hit all the notes on the scale? (just the voice)

I really can't think of any song I know of that sounds better with auto tune. Can't wait until that goes extinct, like parachute pants.

@tchelicon thanks, iv looked at a few more videos and im gonna get the voicetone synth, amazing pedals !

@133Afroman Hiya, In this video the guys were using the VoiceLive 2. For this kind of effect you could use either the VoiceLive 2, VoiceLive Touch, VoiceTone Create XT, VoiceTone C1 or if you want to have a vocoder also for some really "out there" sounds you could use the VoiceTone Synth. If it is just this effect you are after then I would start with either the Synth or C1, however, the VoiceLive 2 does give you every possible option except the vocoder.
Best wishes,

Can I plug it into a Harp(stringed) instead of a guitar?

@RideHanna Hiya, Wow - that's a new one :). As we've never tried this before with a VoiceLive 2 I can't guarantee results...however, I am guessing it would probably work.
Best wishes,

Can you get this extreme autotune type sound on the voicetone correct? Thanks!

@soapboxracer182 Hiya, The VoiceTone Correct XT is more about subtle auto-chromatic pitch correction rather than using pitch correction as a noticeable and deliberate effect (hardtune). You might want to check out either the VoiceTone Synth or Single C1 for this type of effect if this is what you're after.
Best wishes,
