(An Epigraph of 'Murasaki Blue')
Reminiscing about the summer craze
takes me back to those memorable days
the still moments while children laugh
all these captured in a grey scale photograph
jump ropes and eating ice cream
everyday was like a daydream
suddenly I woke up as our lips did part
now won't you take me back to our start?
we had laughter brought by our own special ways
it's the only thing that keeps us happy during mondays
I'm lost for words, and for the lack of things to say
I just held you in the grass 'til the day withered away
some look at our summer romance as something that will pass
but I swear to every other season that we'll make this kiss last
I wanna gaze to those eyes ,
yes, your eyes that couldn't project any lies
the sun's rays changed your iris through and through
but everything else about you remained so true
lets just stay where our summer starts
touching each other's wild young hearts
