To all those who never had the chance to see Bobby perform live or meet him, you can still keep his spirit alive by protecting Florida's beauty and environment. He truly loved our great state, I miss him.

I had never heard of Bobby hicks up until I saw these videos online, and I deeply regret that I didn't. He is now definitely my favorite country/folk singer. Thank you very much for posting this.

This song was written when Bobby was returning from Augustine, thinking his music career was over. Thankfully it was not true and I had the great gift of getting to know him. Yesterday I returned from Augustine. I went there on Friday to be with Jim Carrick, Bobby's very dear friend and musical peer, to shore each other up. I am comforted that Bobby lives on in our hearts and there are loving, talented people to carry on his legacy.

Thank you Gary Horrell for sending this to me. I regret that I never heard Bobby Hicks play and sing in person. He truly had a real heart for singing and a simple way of putting heavy thoughts together to touch the spirit. Thank you Bobby for all the new people you have now touched, thanks to Gary.
