Development Marketplace 2010 (English Version)

The Development Marketplace (DM) is a competitive grant program administered by the World Bank in collaboration with committed partners and sponsors. The Competition identifies and funds innovative, early-stage projects with high potential for development impact. International partners include the Inter-American Development Banks Youth Program (IDB YOUTH) and Multilateral Investment Fund (MIF), the Young Americas Business Trust of the OAS (YABT) and the Small Grants Program (SGP) of the Global Environment Facility (GEF), among others. The central focus of this years DM will be on identifying ideas that have the potential to create employment for young people and bring associated benefits to communities and society at large.
