@onlypitbulls The Cliffs is 300 acres of woodland and mud whereas the Badland is 800 acres of woodlands and mud but they also have a large rock quarries, and massive gravel pits and many wide open areas. Cost is about the same but it is a very long day unless you stay overnight. Give the Cliffs a try I do not think you will regret it.

@onlypitbulls Yes the Cliff’s is worth checking out. It can be great fun and for $20-25 you can’t beat that for a day’s entertainment. You are comparing apples to oranges comparing the Cliffs to the Badlands.

@onlypitbulls If you get stuck, lost or just need help give them a call and they will send out a volunteer to help you. The best thing to do is go with another vehicle. If an obstacle or the trail looks too narrow walk ahead and check it out thoroughly. Don’t be in a rush to do every trail and stay out of the gullies. If the trail is named Carnage it means you will not come back unscathed. Good luck and have fun.

@onlypitbulls Stay out of the mud holes as some can be very deep. If it looks like you can’t get through a section try to work around the obstacle or turn around and try something different. They have a circle track for Jeeps, etc. that you can have fun on. If you have problems try taking Trail one in the other direction or take the creek up trail 3. Make sure you have a cell phone and the parks emergency number.

@onlypitbulls It can certainly be a gnarly park at times. The trails are rarely groomed and are in poor condition but tons of fun if you have a rig that is exo-caged or you don’t mind banging off trees. The web site says you can drive a car around trail one but that is a joke. If you want to test out your Bronco choose a dry day that was preceded by a dry week. Stay on trail 1 or trail 3 and go slow.

To Whom It May Concern:
Were is this offload park? I been off road-dingg at the IL ARNG Marseillestrainingg area. I am a member of the IL Army National Guard. As you know the IL ARNG(and some other state agency) run a training facility in Marseilles, IL(I know it is actually outside of town) near the nuke plant and windmills. I love the area. This summer from April to September I may have orders to work at the Marseilles Training Area. I love the area. I will be staying on
