  • I'm waiting for my dx3s radio gear to come back due to warranty reasons before I can actually take it for a run and in this time I replaced the servo. No set ups have changed at all. I understand savox uses ball bearings maybe it's normal and I'm panicking, but even rolling car along the carpet will turn the wheels ???

  • @rabss15 yeah thats normall - dont worry

  • Hey I just swapped out my hobao h-102 metal gear servo for the savox sc-1258. From my understanding the hobao servo was 9kg and the savox is 12kg, however the hobao servo was alot stiffer to turn by hand when tx and rx is off. Is it normal for the savox servo to be really easy to turn when off. If I tap the wheels with my finger they turn is this good?

  • @rabss15 it depends how ur car is setup - does it work fine when your using it ?

  • Excellent servo. I just installed it on my brand new Losi 8 2.0 yesterday! Check my vids!

  • @JKZD good good good, they are great

  • I have been experimenting with different servos and found you will get much more life if you set the dual rate so at the end of your steering its not trying to rip your servo horn out of socket, Im running my savox 1267 at 90% left and right on my losi 8 2.0 and still get full range of steering without stress against servo motor. Hope this helps it shure did for me.

  • Hey I got my new dx3s tx and sr3001 pro receiver and plugged it in. Started it up and it just keeps going into fail safe mode. Fresh batteries in tx and rx. Any clue? I read something about a voltage capacitor? Know anything? I can't drive my hyper 9 at all :) and it's pretty new

  • hello i bought one of these servos today and it makes a strange noise when its not used plus the steering lock is worse and it seems to have less power than the 9kg servo that i swaped it for... i took it back to the shop and was told that they are all like this... have you had any problems with yours

  • does this fit on 1/10 touring cars?

  • Cheers mate

  • @neversay09 12kg stall torque...
