@strokeseat1 i meant that despite of all this tech progress.., most of mankind dont benefit from it, That is what i meant. And if it really all came from the military, at what cost? That is what we must look at, Innovations would have happened anyway. Nearly every day a new star is discovered, But..., we still dont know anything other then the huge distances. We have no answers to anything but a few things, That concern the ruling classes and their soldiers

@vlad1915 so your saying the jet engine is not progress? that was invented during WWII by the germans, radar, by the British, effective heavy machinery by the americans. are you saying this is not progress. im sure you have caught a plane in your life, purchased something from a retailer that used heavy haulage AND guess what? your mobile phone is a by-product of war. i suggest you give up as i have proven ou wrong on every one of your arguments. war is not glorious but it happens.

@divad1200 didn't fight them off as you think. we just retreated until their supply lines faltered, similar to how ours were when our troops were in Kokoda and Isurava, in fact anywhere along the track, just the closer they got to port Moresby our supply line got shorter...
