  • I know Chris Shays (personally) , and i have to say it say it's disappointing to see him not pull the man aside and speak to him like a human being. Looking at your watch.. Obviously the man is upset when you are angry sometimes become fixated on the problem.

What Shays should have done(if he seeks re-election) is tell him the truth about the entire mess and what he intends to do to help find solutions to the problem.

"I don't know" is not an answer that comes from a man with convictions.

  • Simple - he's a Republican.

  • @BlameRepublicans I'm a (proud) Democrat, but I think that your comment is the nuttiest thing I've read all day.

  • No he's a fucking scum bag who deserves to see his family have their throats slit before getting a bullet through his head. He's a fucking crook.

  • Shays is a good man. This guy was lying and he was just trying to provoke him.

  • The video cuts out just a Shays starts explaining his point. Totally biased.

  • Makes me ashamed to live in Fairfield. COME ON HIMES, GET THE LAST REPUBLICAN IN NEW ENGLAND OUT OUT OUT!!!

  • Ouch. If I were Shays, I would not want this to get around. Olbermann, anyone?

  • How hard is it to say, "Hey, man, I'm really sorry you lost your job. I think a lot of people are in your situation. I want to try to help. How can I help you?"

Sympathy Shays has not. Or does he actually think the economy is "fundamentally strong"?

  • They don't read the bills they sign.

They are there to collect graft, and sign where they are told to sign.
