In this quick tutorial we'll be building the back side of an iPad using Rhino for Mac. The basic methodology would be identical in Alias, SolidWorks, ProE, or any other CAD package.

  • The match curve command and set points transform were worth the price of admission! Thanks for sharing your formidable knowledge with us mortals.

  • but what if projected curve is not G2 continuous with top face?

  • I'm an Adam fanboy ^_^

  • Nice, but you can just do the 2 bases lines and the last line to guide the curvature. Use sweep to rail and finished. The easiest way is use blend and do a line. But you also can use loft with 1 guide to curvature.

  • Thank You ! CadJunkie is always the best one!

  • Great tutorial! Thanks for posting this.
