Artist interview with Professor Terunobu Fujimori about the Black Tea House installation in RMIT Gallery in late 2009.
Professor Fujimori is a leading historian of modern Japanese architecture. He began to design his own architecture in 1990. He has an international reputation for his unique contemporary Japanese architecture. He uses traditional materials such as wood, charcoal and tree bark to express his interest in the relationship between architecture and nature.
