Inspirational Skateboard Video Parts From The Past.
When I skated back in the late 80's into the 90's, one of my favorite things to do before heading out, was to watch a scene or scenes from a skateboard video, you know, for a little pump up.
I decided to compile some of my favorite moments from some of the old vids.
This is the one and only...The Gonz! This is definitely one my all time favorite video parts. You can't get more inspired by something than this! Mark Gonzales in the great 1991 vid, "Video Days" from Blind Skateboards. Everything about this part is perfect. Mark is an innovator. Everything he does here puts a smile on my face. And he looks awesome doing it. The greatest style I've ever seen. He can fall down and still look good! I don't remember when "switch stance" skating started to actually happen, but if I remember right, after this vid, it became a norm.
