  • is it a good idea to take out door potraits with a filter?

    and what filter do u recommand to be on the lens all the time, as protaction to the lens

  • @sharkman0616 A filter isn't really necessary for outdoor portraits. Some people put a UV or skylight filter on the lens all the time as protection, but some feel this lowers lens quality and increases risk of flare. A lens hood would also offer some protection.

  • @zmanKT Yes. The 18-55mm VR kit lens it comes with takes 52mm filters.

  • brilliant! great guide :) is it possible to screw in multiple round filters?

  • @xsiranthrax Yes but too many will degrade quality and could cause vignetting (dark corners in pics)
