This little piece was intended to be the horrific tale about some American Settlers who wound up stranded in the mid-Altantic ocean & ultimately chucked all their horses overboard to save themselves, but the song simply never wound up going that direction. The more I worked on it, the more it morphed into some Bluesy/Jazzy piece & now no longer fits the purpose it was intended for. I documented it anyway & ran with the vibe. It'll likely never end up on any of Necrovision's CD releases, but I had fun making it anyway. So, here it is. I didn't release this to flaunt my stellar guitar prowess or land a spot on Brittain's "Who's got Talent" so don't beat me up too bad. I didn't even bother to throw on my Necrovision costume for this one, so it's straight off the cuff & not likely to be played out anywhere. It's just an idea I ran with. If you liked it, by all means leave me a comment. I live for the feedback it gets. Thanks for watching!!!
I know I originally stated that we won't be using this piece on any of Necrovision's future releases, but dammit I lied. The whole band likes the song & it's one of our favorites to perform live. We have two versions (one with lyrics & one without), but the instrumental version will be what's published on CD. The "lyrics included" version will be played out live.
