  • Luke Russert, you are a well-spoken young man. Your father would be very proud of the way you've represented your family over the past several days. He was a fine journalist and he raised a fine son.

  • Its not about making political points.

Its about responding to someone who goes on an anonymous web site and picks on a 22 year old kid who just lost his dad and has the balls to do interviews when he knows that there are lowlifes like you out there. You didnt comment on some old MTP footage- you found footage of a poor kid who is giving an interview while devastated.

We can talk politics- but thats not what you're doing. You are smearing a 22 year old broken hearted kid. Pathetic.

  • We could have really used Tim Russert, Couric, Lauer, Gibson, O'Reilly, and Olbermann coming out and screaming bloody murder about what has happened to this once beautiful country instead of dividing us into the blame-the-liberals/blame-the-conservatives camps.

And although it's not Luke's fault his dad didn't have enough character to defend his country, to watch fat junior continue to live off the ignorance of the American people with a plum job in DC makes me despise him nonetheless.

  • No, I am an informed person who knows what is going on in this country and phoniness is not synonymous with love and honesty.

And so was Tim Russert was also a man who knew what was happening in this country. But he chose loyalty to his masters and worldly gain instead of liberty for all.

But by all means, continue to bury your head in the sand.

  • One year later... I hear ya bro you are right

  • Luke, I miss your dad. . He was the BEST.!!!! I hope you follow in his footsteps on TV in some way like your dad did. He was one of the GREATS that we will never see the likes again. God Bless you Luke.

  • Luke, be the host of meet The Press and make us all proud forever.

    Go get 'em, kid.

    We need you.

  • Tim's son< Luke said, that Grampa showed love in "concrete ways" not in words, but in his working two jobs, being positive and being faithful..

  • Sweet story.

Tim was a man who cared about the little guy too...

    God bless them

  • Yes that was your point. It just wasn't a good one.. .....twank.
