I take it you've been to Pakistan then? "Officially a failed state"? Is that why it's a "Next eleven nation" Is that why it holds the most refugees in the entire world? With all due fairness, that was around 70 years ago... Do we in the UK still think that the Germas are nazis? Also, please do not forget the genocide of Bangladesh from the hands of Pakistan (or West Pakistan as it was then)

The UK is not perfect. Pakistan is not perfect. Arguably, empire does benefit people, but it just takes quite a lot of generations to see that benefit
