Great Playing and tone brother I just got a BB I haven't try it with my gear but i cant wait.. but i connected the pedal direct to the PC and it sounded great !! are you connecting the bb on the front of the amp or in a g-sys loop?

Wow, I too been obsessed with my RC Booster for the past year but I haven't thought of using it to reduce gain either...I am probably going to use that setting at my gig tonight. Great playing and tone. Very sweet base tone and I love how transparent those pedals are...You can rip it up too man. I've never been able to do any shred licks like that (nor have I usually wanted to), but watching this makes me want to break out my metronome again...ha.

Where did you get the case for the g.system?

I love that rig man!. Beautiful tone and good playing!.

What do you run the BB like if you just want a signal boost, like, no added eq or anything. Do you just put the bass and treble at 12 o' clock, or turn it all the way down.

Absolutely Fantastic tone!
I use a very similar setup. I've never though of using the RC to reduce the gain.... Very interesting.
That Suhr sounds ridiculously good too!
Is that the 1x12 version?

seems to kill the tone.. i never tried balanced cabling though-- some say that fixes any issues with tone loss
dude...amazing playing!! Super tone!! If you dont mind, what the settings of your Mesa Boogie Lone Star Special and bb preamp?
Keep amazing the world!!!

Hmm, the RC Booster is interesting. I am assuming it's generally designed as an overdrive pedal ?. How well does it work if you use it simply as an overdrive pedal, Malmsteen style ?.

it works good to boost an already driven amp, help fatten or brighten a clean tone.. push a tube amp into breakup, etc..with the ability to boost the highs and lows, you can get an yngwie'esque boost from it, for sure.. i find it 'enhances' the tone.. it also gives me the ability to have a 'third channel' when playing live.. i can't wait for a 3 channel lonestar.. if they cloned the dirty channel--- wow.. just wow

its actually more of a clean boost, but there is some gain to it, and the gain that it does have, is very good for adding to an already driven tone
