Peri I threw these pictures together to show you the Windmills here in California. I took them while driving (did I say that) to Palm Springs CA.

I have never thought about them much since I don't live in the desert but I wonder if they were put there to help Southern California with it's energy problems or to line someone's pocket. Probably the later. Thanks for enlightening me about this!

This haunting song is beautifully performed by Jevetta Steele and is called Calling You! One of my favorites. It's from the movie Bagdad Cafe.

  • @JoseLu48 much better song is toad the wet sprocket - windmills.

  • Maybe they do. I never got off the freeway. Next time I go out there I'll look. Thanks for dropping bye!

  • There is beauty in this as scupture. Why don't they have solar thermal power generation between the windmills? There is also plenty of sun, and more energy.

  • I never really paid attention to where and how many thee are. That tour sounds like fun. I wonder what they do when the Santa Ana Winds come through. I would think those winds could really store up a lot of energy!
