  • I had a pond built about a year ago in Va with all the rain it fulled up but now it's down about 4 foot which tells me I have a bad leak it's about 3/4 of a acre I am thinking of spreading bentonite clay around the pond just was wondering how you made out with it

  • @swivelgate

Bentonite works great...just make sure you try to find where the hole is...or spread bentonite everywhere

  • Well, I guess the first thing to ask is, "Is that an actual stream that is fed from a passing river or a natural stream fed by water run-off? If so in either case, are you aware you could be facing thousands of dollars in fines for manipulating that stream. Even if it's on your own property. You have to submit your project to your township first for approval when dealing with natural streams. In most cases it is denied. So I am curious to how you were approved for this project.

  • Are you still in need of bentonite for your pond? And are you located in PA. If so look me up I can help you out/
