Lou Bartell, owner and pilot of Canyonlands Ballooning takes us on an incredible journey over the scenic landscape of southern Utah. The video begins at dawn as we prepare the balloon for flight. Once airborne we gently glide over spectacular canyons, mesas and buttes. Lou skillfully pilots the balloon to just clear the crests of the rocky cliffs by only a few feet. The vistas as you clear the cliffs on the other side and peer into the canyons defy description. We also got to see some wildlife as a white-tailed deer ran for cover when we flew into his secluded canyon. It was a fantastic experience from beginning to end.
