sollte sie in dieser arie tatsächlich massstabsetzend sein?
na ja, ich bin noch nicht durch alle ombra leggeras durch. vielleicht schafft es ja doch noch eine, der callas das wasser zu reichen.

This was very beautiful coloratura-filled singing. June Anderson's Lucia and French repertoire was excellent. She had a big voice but could sing with a light lyric touch. And that red gown is gorgeous.

Absolutely the greatest interpretation after Callas's one. Very good taste and coloratura-she's the first who sing all passage with legato and not picchiettato-

This is some of the best singing I have heard by heard by her. Her voice spins so easily without any excess weight, and the vibrato stays nice and fluid. Brava!

It is said that certain voices come once in a hundred years. Of all the recordings I've heard (and the sadly only one live performance I've seen) June Anderson's performance of Ombre Legere is that once in a hundred years interpretation: She gets everything just right. David F.
