An addendum to this are the musical stars today. They're nothing but kids themselves! They don't have a frame of reference of what quality music sounds like. The music industry today is solely based upon appeal and not the content. There's no creativity in the music videos, they just show the 'artist' playing his/her's instrument and that's it. In lamens terms, music just isn't important anymore, especially in an age of advancing technology. Nobody gets passionate anymore. Music is dead!

Our generation is finished! Too many jackass kids immersed in all of these technological gizmos and little by little standards are lowering. There's nothing of sufficient value in the industry anymore because people are too entrenched in technology and as a result; music has gotten progressively worse. These VMA's today and MTV in general is nothing but a big joke! Does anybody even watch MTV anymore? It's nothing compared to the 80's. It's reality TV!
