A shake up in the McCotter camp. By the end of the show, someone will leave and we'll meet a new face... er, voice mail.

  • You wouldn't have charges to press. YOU are the one who has broken the law. I know, by your own admission that the congressman has let you know that he disagrees. He HAS responded. You are the one making a fool of yourself. A fool using illegal tactics.

  • Hello? Is this thing on?

What I'm telling you is that complaining to me won't do you any good. You should go to the authorities, or better yet go to McCotter.

And everyone knows that he disagrees with me. That's why I want to talk to him and find out WHY he disagrees with me. It's kind of like when I ask you WHY you keep telling me things I already know and you say "Yes". That is a response, not an answer.

I'm in it for the answers.

  • YOU have repeatedly committed a federal crime and provided all the evidence needed for prosecution.

The federal law makes it unlawful to record telephone conversations except in one party consent cases which permit one party consent recording by state law. Two party or all party consent means that every party to the conversation must have knowledge and give consent to the recording.

There are twelve states that require all party consent. Michigan is one of them.

  • Why are you telling me all this. I'm not going to press charges and clearly I'm not going to stop. You should call McCotter's people (if you can get through). Tell them that a constituent is making fools of them.

I'm sure he'd love to have a big showy trial where he tries to cover up his insensitivity, especially during an election.

I'm down at the federal courthouse every day anyhow, picketing for impeachment in front of Conyers' office. It won't cramp my schedule a bit.

  • Actually, I was referring to the Kucinich bill, "Article XXIV

Spying on American Citizens, Without a Court-Ordered Warrant, in Violation of the Law and the Fourth Amendment."

But I'm glad you agree. If you are truly serious about upholding the law, call your congressman. Obviously, mine won't listen.

And yes. I did fast for 40 days. On day 26, John Conyers met with me. I'll do it again if I have to.

  • Sure do. It's illegal and might be worth prosecution. Fasting, eh? Me thinks thou dost haves "peaches" on thy face.

  • Yeah! Don't you hate it when your electronic communications are being monitored?

  • I am assuming that each person knew that they were being recorded. If not you have broken federal laws.
