Marvi Jo Khoh, I was told by the local that Umar came with intention to take Marive, because he was informed by his minsters that a beautifull girl (Marive) lives at 100 kilometer distance to his palce. therefore he decided to have look of her, when reached the village of her living, he was shown the girl. he proced near to her by riding on his camel and requested her to have him water to drink.
she (marvi) asked him come down the camel to drink ther water. He(umar) replied "No" water to me on the camel,. therefor she moved with water to him. He instead taking water captured from wrest to ride on the camel and brought her in his palce(umarkot) and kept her for unknow time, tried to convence her to marry him. but she never compromised and kept on asking him to let her go from where he took her. finally he decided to let her go. when he could not change her mind by offering every luxury of life. then he let her go. becasue of that performance by the Marvi the story cameup through out the sindh. and rest sindh started singing her name and her commitment toward her neighbour and family and locality.
