I noticed a decent bump in FPS when I switched to windows 7, I think my PC got a better score on the experience index too. They said with windows 7 they wanted to make it more efficient, a lot of stuff is optimized for Windows 7 these days I think. No guarantees though.

@maverrpl Trust me man. If you have a gaming rig, its recommended that you get Windows 7. Because Windows 7 is faster than Vista. Alot of people are using Windows 7 for their gaming PC.

@infinitypark003 Windows 7 is better for games than Vista??

@maverrpl More texture are on Direct X 11 than DX 10. In general, graphics on DX 11 are more better than DX 10. If your a PC gamer, I recommend u upgrade to Windows 7 because it will run better than Vista.

I am unsure why so many people are using those pesky Phenom II x3s verses the x4s, for such an easy upgrade I can't understand why anyone would stick with the X3.

@graymalkin1234
what's pesky about x3's? they're much cheaper than the x4's and provide nearly the same performance in many areas, the x3 even matches or surpasses the x4 in some cases. it also uses less power, is easier to cool (especially when overclocked).

FPS?
demonhuter2008 1 year ago
@demonhuter2008 Its been a while since I've played but somewhere upwards of near 80fps, since I recall running it at vsnc on a 85hz monitor. you may get down into the 40's on very intensive parts. if you don't care about AA or vsync, you can get quite a bit more FPS out of it.
