Why wouldn't he?
He's a professional voice actor and it's work.
You take what pays fairly for your talents and experience in a very competitive line of work, and voiceovers are definitely competitive.

Dude, that's Jim Cummings doing the narration! He did such characters as Darkwing Duck, Dr. Robotnik in the SatAM version of Sonic the Hedgehog, and Disney's Bonkers! I didn't know he made commercials!

I hafta agree: though it was a real good idea at first for Sega of America, it execution the 32X proved to be the last nail on Gennie's coffin (while the Sega CD being the first.)
