People ask how I make the backing tracks. I will make a video of it someday. I cut the original cd track at around 180hz down -24db essentially eliminating the low end of the song, so only the mids and highs are playing, then I play on top of that. I then sync the audio which I record from my Podxt Live with the USB and the modded CD track to the video. I do not use the cameras built in microphone cause it sucks, so you get this nice studio sound and a vid. Thanks and enjoy.

not even close. lower octaves and different tunings. the lowest string is a B and the highest is a C. Bass is way better than guitar

I don't have a grudge at all, I was just joking. Honestly though, I don't really see this as a "bass" anymore. I'm not saying it's any less of an instrument, but seeing as its range is a lot higher, I don't really think it would be right to still call it a bass. Just my opinion however.

yeah it would be useful if the notes went higher, but in this song he can stay in 2nd position through the entire song just playing the first 4 strings.

6 strings are for anyone hahaha Im not a good bass player.. :)
I like it cause it gives me the option of shifting tunes into more playable positions then all over the place. Makes it easier for me since I have a bad pinky finger and I dont have to make wild stretches all the time.. Plus there fun to have the extended range.
