This video demonstrates how to build a scorecard in Excel 2010 using the Powerpivot addin. It also outlines the advantages of using Excel 2010 Powerpivots to build scorecards. This includes a) Data compression b) Very fast "slicing of data" c) Multi table relationships, d) DAX expressions and e) Multiple Pivot charts or Pivot Tables linking to a single set of connected slicers. The video also discusses additional Excel features that provide useful functionality to scorecards such as Ranking, Cumulative totals and Pareto Analysis (80/20).
