This is a vid of Wing Commander Ken Wallis demonstrating his "Zeus III" Gyrocopter to us near Dereham.
Wallis currently holds all but one world record to do with Autogyros (Gyrocopters); and has had contracts with many clients, including building and flying "Little Nessie" that appeared in the James Bond film "You Only Live Twice" in 1967.
He has been presented with hundreds of awards throughout his whole life, with trophies from Motor-boat racinig to car racing and work in the RAF around WW2.
94 and still going strong, this man is possibly one of the best inventors around.

  • The man is a bloomin' legend.

  • @jakem1900 i believe that the top blades lift the gyro like a regular helicopter but instead of the top blades pivoting to tip its center mass the gyro pushes itself with the second vertical propeller system behind it.
