http://www.peachpit.com/authortips - Richard Harrington reveals how to use the crop tool without fear to get the results you need in Photoshop CS4 at Photoshop World Las Vegas, 2008.
Why use two tools to correct converging verticals? Free transform can do it in one go. Simply select all - cmd (opt) + T and drag the corners to straighten the image. Easy.
ehh this crop "improvement" is really stupis, and counter productive in cs1 you just clicked and dragged, easy simple and with desirable results. Now you have to type this stuff in which really makes me angry.
Thanks for posting this tip on YouTube!!! It's just the info I needed. I was trying to crop a photo and CS4 would not allow me to make the crop selection I wanted. Cool. Thanks.
I didn't know some of that stuff. Thanks for posting and making me aware.
