First day with Samick Sage

Please excuse the old leather work glove, I've been staring at this thing for more than a week waiting to shoot it. Can't wait for the UPS guy to show up this week with my arrows and tab.

i notice there is a like vibration voice after u shoot i have samick sage to and do you know why it does that? cuz it annoys me personaly

@confusedforlife1 The reason the bow has a little twang to it is because I'm using the factory B-50 endless loops string with no silencers or loop padding. I ended up replacing the B-50 string with a Fast Flight flemish twist string with beaver puff string silencers and it quietened things up considerably. You can check out the other "Sage" video I posted for a comparison.

Yeah I've got those long monkey arms too, it's been fun playing around with my anchor point to figure out what gives me the best body alignment. That being said I'm drawing right around 28" right now, if you look at the second video you can get a better visualization. From what I've read the samick limbs run a little on the heavy side so at that drawlength I should be pulling within a couple pounds of 40.

They're 40# limbs, I've been shooting it for a couple weeks now and my form has gotten much better. I might post another clip these weekend if the weather cooperates.

i ended up finding a ragim impala last year new stock for 85 shipped since it had a little scuff. i love that cuz i know ill put my own scuffs on it anyway. they are bout same as sage new. but i dont think as good. they have plastic tips and sage has mycarta right?

@agtx42 looks like you may have a long reach like me im 5-8 but have 6 foot arm span. so it'd be like 44-48 lb with a longer draw weight possibly

Looks good! The Sage is a great bow isn't it? Btw, once you fine tune the brace height on that thing (and maybe add a pair of wiskers), it'll be much quieter. I assume the string you have on it is the one that came with the bow - as the serving is red just like the one that mine came with. You might find that the original string is actually a little long for the bow and once you change it out with a better one, the bow will actually shoot much quieter...
