To clarify, the school "Shorinjiryu Kenshin" study & train useing the system for shiai (fight contest) following that of The Old School (Koryu) and maintaining / reflecting the principle philosophies of the Way of the Warrior (Bushido). Ichi no kokoru!
A competition system, having as it's main influence, the study of Shorinji Kenpo via Manchuria.

@SensieSanzashi Doshin So also has his own story during the war. He has learn varied style include shaolin and karate. With all his experience and knowledge, he combine and improve it, thats how he create shorinji kempo... Anyway, to learn any martial art you need to have a good sensei... and to be a great fighter, it depends on the person itself...

@Thejr2137 During this time Doshin Sho, Mochizuki, and Hisataka (Kudaka in Okinawan) trained together and shared many of their ideas and techniques. Though I do not have the actual records to prove it (if they even exists?) I believe that it was Mochizuki and Hisataka were the secret agents who helped in Doshin Sho's escape out of Manchuria from the Russian army.

@Thejr2137 Yes, and I would also like to make you aware of an important fact that proves a strong relationship between our varied styles. Mochizuki (Yoshinkan) and Hisataka (Kenkokan) were both Station Masters stationed in Manchuria during the war.
