That is what i hated about this game. I like transporting the cargo on my own and picking up other cargo in space from destroyed pirates or other privateers.

If you think a little about it this way of handling cargo is far more realistic though if you fly a fighter craft. Including playable freighters is the best way to go in that aspect in my point of view.

@Hoschi0913 I'm playing the original DOS Release using DosBox with the built in capture feature as well as a third party wave editor to capture my commentary.

Both but the DOS version (in DosBox) is best version to play on modern systems

A note or two about trading. Some planets are agricultural, some are industrial, some are pirate, etc. If you write down the general prices of each planet you can figure what to sell where and what to buy, depending on where you want to go next.
