Die DFB-Auswahl unterlag Australien im Borussia Park unglücklich mit 1:2. Im ersten Durchgang nutzte die Löw-Elf eine der wenigen Chancen gegen körperbetont agierende, aber weitgehend harmlose Socceroos. Wie aus dem Nichts stellte das Team aus "Down Under" den Spielverlauf nach einer guten Stunde auf den Kopf und ließ danach nichts mehr anbrennen.

@ilikevines Congrats again, Australia deserved it to win once against big germany. For us it just was test match, where 7 players from the 1st team didn't play. That's why I had anyhow a smile because you guys are really friendly. :-D
