Your tribute to Navy Corpsman who gave their lives so that their Marine buddies could live to fight another day moved me greatly. As a retired devildoc who served in Vietnam as a company corpsman with the 3-2 Recon, everyday, and too many nights, I remember the men that I saved and the ones that I couldn't. Semper fi from HMCS Jordan. Marines and their corpsman never die; they go to Hell to regroup.

@squidster5 You are very welcome! Thank you for thinking of my fallen Brothers and Sisters! There is not one day when I do not remember them. Thank you so much for you words, they bring me relief, and support! God bless our USMC and USN HMS!

good vid I am a former HM2 and I loved my job but hated the politics in the military or I would have stayed on. as for Corpsman not being legit targets well that is a joke cause the enemy would love to target the doc's or officers to hurt morale. as for me I was a gun fighter until someone needed me.

Great tribute Doc, the legend of our fellow fallen HMs will live on forever in the United States Hospital Corps as long as the Corps exist, they still exist

Nice tribute, doc. These men and women were guardians of freedom's guardians on earth, and carry on these duties from above. Don't weep for them, they are in His Corps now and should be honored as such. DEEP RESPECT ~ OORAH!

@Minkosis Army, Navy, USMC, USAF...same country, same reason, buddy. It doesn't matter what service branch you serve in when you're deployed, down range, or in the field. (The only time it really matters is on an NCAA Football Field...)

HM3 Medez and I were at NHCS together. I had to have surgury and he volunteered for my orders. Never thought when he left that day, it would have been the last. I'd trade places with him in a second. We will all have that big NHCS party in the sky once again. They are just getting warmed up before us. God Bless my brothers. Thank you for everything. Corpsman Up!

they are more a live than ever........of course in His glory. They did well in this pilgrimage.......God bless !

Corpsmen are a very different breed. Self-sacrifice over self-preservation. Indeed, a Doc with the wings of an angel will go through the very gates to save the life of Marine. It is very comforting that in today's society, there are still men and women who answer this calling. Not a lot of people understand this. To most it's insane. God Bless you all, our fallen brothers. We will never forget and we won't let others forget!
