This is my very late entry for the Sugar Hill Records "How to Grow a Video" contest.
The footage I used is public domain, taken from the Internet Movie Archive. The video is episode 26 of The Hazards of Helen, titled "The Wild Engine." It is from 1915. Helen is a remote telegraph operator who rushes to save a runaway train.

You'd think seeing the bridge was way up would cause her to stop and not plunge into the river. Oh, well, I guess it made a better movie. They required a lot of action back in those days.
This song rocks! Wonder what Jimmie Rodgers would've thought if he would have heard Chris's version. It's got the modern bluegrass drive. Rock on Chris. ;?)
Hey, congrats on your victory. Your video rocks. I even watched it a few times for good measure. Enjoy the new iPod (though I'm willing to bet you probably had all the Thile tunes already).
