  • How did he get the video screen off to the side ?

  • 2Gb's is the bare minimum for Sonar.

When you can, at least kick it up to 3 or 4 (I think 4GB is about the standard of what most are using).

    Of course, they're plenty of folks that're using 6 and 8GB :)

Oh yea, nice, easy-to-use 'step sequencer' in there too.

  • about how much RAM is ample?

  • 7 monitors? Talk about ease of use lol. That must be great to use with sonar.

  • Good choice!

I picked up Sonar 8 (and have gone through 3, 6 & 7...the synths that come with 8 are fantastic!

Just have a good amount of ram (you know that already), and its such a great program. You'll be psyched.

  • I will definitely be getting Sonar 8. I'm in the process of upgrading my pc! Can hardly wait!

  • I find SONAR is one of the easiest DAW's to use. I find Cubase far to heavy. SONAR makes it much easier for me to put my ideas into music :)

Sorry not trying to sell it, but yeah anyway SONAR RULES :D

  • other audio mixing software also do that.Nothing new... :(

  • I'm looking to get sonar in the future, glad it works for you
