OK, so this is like the 10th time in a row I'm listening to this......and I can't stop grinning and saying wow, wow, wow! I never hear of Liv before and I'm so glad to have stumbled onto this posting......thank you Sally!
I recently ran into a former employee who used to be in a bad place in life which caused her problems. She has since found her "good place" and is damn proud of what she's doing! I'm proud of her too and can't wait to share this with her.

I have been a fan of Livingston Taylor since I first saw him warm up for Dave Mason at St. Bonaventure University in upstate western NY way back in the 70's.
Just an easy going music lover who loves to share his love for acoustic storytellin'.
Very nice man.

I am the most rabid, devoted James Taylor fan you'll ever meet, both as a member of the listening public and as a pro musician of 20 years. I think he's in the top 5 American composers/singers/guitarists/r
ecording artists — ever. But Livingston Taylor's song, "LIfe is Good," is, in fact, as good as anything James has ever done. Especially the first stanza — "...asks his old dad..". The guitar work is fantastic, the chord pattern, ditto. Not many songs stir me to tears, but this one does. -
met him at a party in Boston. Great talented guy!

Whoa. Ive never listened to Livingston before, but now I hear that common "gene" in he & James in their voices. And he's a pretty smooth guitar player too , I see as well as a captivating performer too. Kudos to him for having his own success as well!

Sit down, take a breath, close your eyes and remember that there is always sunshine which has been with you..... or it soon will be. Life is one big game, its how you play it that matters......... This track has given me this!!! a true person of integrity

This has been so far, the very worst year of my life. The world has shook, the wind has blown, and I have to admit, life is good! This song has a lot of meaning if you truly listen to it. Give it all to others and it all comes back to you!

I've seen Livingston Taylor twice in PA in a outdoor park setting, I met him both times, he's really a great person.
I sat next to Liv at a dinner at Harvard about a year ago, and he is truly a marvelous human being and performer. He said something to me, which has stuck with me ever since: Tenacity trumps talent always. How wise!

I had the great good fortune to see him about 2 years ago in Monroe, Michigan (about 30 miles south of Detroit, and 20 miles north of Toledo, where I live). It was wonderful. After the show, he signed autographs and CD's for every last person who was waiting in line without acting as if it was an imposition. What a gifted and gracious man. I wish him all the best and look forward to hearing his future work. All the best to everyone who has posted notes here.
