2007 Australian Aerobatic Championships (Part 1)

As part of the Red Baron Aerobatic team I depart Bankstown airport, Sydney, and fly over the Blue Mountains in our Pitts S-2A out West to the quiet country town of Parkes.
Every year at Easter, Parkes Regional Airport becomes the arena in which pilots from around the country come to battle for a National aerobatic title.

That's Hans Litjens - 2009 Australian Advanced Champion. He just retired from competition and I'm sure he'll miss those negative G's indeed!

How did you get the video???? The Dragon/Rapide (still don't know which one it is) looks really good. I think it is the one that used to live at Airworld in Wangarratta????

Sorry for late reply - haven't checked back for a while on this video. I took the video while I was waiting for the Pitts to be ready.. No idea where the Dragon came from. I saw it doing run-ups last week, it's still around at Bankstown.

Yes it is - airworthy and all.. I think it still lives in that hangar, not sure.
