Temptation Waits - Garbage cover

If Robert Palmer was still alive and held auditions for another 'all-girl' band to do 'addicted to love', this would be my audition tape. I don't own a black mini dress though, but at least I can actually play the guitar.

This is my first time recording through an audio interface and mixing, so forgive some peaking, I'm still getting the hang of the whole process.

For K, Dee and Amanda, all for very different reasons ;) And a nod to the divine Ms Manson of course.

VERY impressive, on a LOT of levels:

* Great arrangement of the song itself, PLUS the vocal arrangement, PLUS the guitar arrangement.

* Great vocals AND guitar playing.

* Great SOUND -- nicely miked, recorded, fx (reverb, hall, and spatial), and edited/mixed.

* Cool video concept, perfect audio sync (no 'kung fu dub' problems), nicely shot, well edited. Nice makeup, good lighting, and GREAT planning and execution of the reactions, expressions, coordination.

@miatjie You're kindly welcome! (Love the MacGyver reference - me too, although I manifest it differently.)

On the "peaking" -- I didn't notice much clipping (but I didn't listen to it through my JBL mon's or Sennheiser phones, either ;-). You might try a little compression on recording then expand (track-by-track), then re-level in the mix. Or just keep-it-simple: sacrifice a little dynamic range in recording - not like you've got a huge range here to worry about highs vs. lows...
