    25mph off-road and 12.5mph in city. We're following the Segway scooter in the city so the bike can travel anywhere a pedestrian can walk, on the train, in elevators, on the bike path and park anywhere you want.

    Great question...first because it's redundant, there's two motor controllers and five gyros too. Second the hub motor is a big flywheel and not very reactive at slow speeds to keep the bike balanced. A pair of 6,000rpm motors can wind-up fast and two motors have more surface area to dissipate heat.

    Seems like the driver is a bit uncomfortable. Seems a bit unstable, at least when you watch it you get the sense that it is hard to maneuver around.
