Please see my previous video for an intro to what this is all about.

This is a description of the diet I'm on now. The diet which according to many medical studies, has an EXTREMELY good chance of halting your MS progression, if not improving symptoms you already have.

Hope this works its a tiny bit over 10 mins... I shall go now and eat my delicious vegan lunch (brocolli, tofu, almonds and kejkap manis on wholegrain spaghetti) and stop worrying about it!

  • What vitmain. Do people take with ms after. Iv drip that sucks out all vitamins any tips

  • @22bellas Vitamin D is really important. As is Omega 3/Fish oil. Other vitamins/supplements dont have much evidence behind them. I wasn't aware that the IV frip (steroids) made any difference to vitamins. Good luck

  • Hey Manda,

Been trying 2 adapt 2 Jelineks way of life for bout 4 months now. Im finding it kinda tough, so much info 2 take in, & I was never much of a cook 2 begin with...

Your video helped consolidate my learnings - I still have 2 get my head round the whole omega3/6 deal & the cooking temps... Ive said goodbye to meat/sat fat, trans fat, dairy & a a 13 yr smoking habit - I know its an all or nothing approach, but Rome wasnt built in a day & so many changes in such a short amount of time!

  • @MSBunnyCuddles Good on you!! I know how overwhelming it can seem, but it's SO worth it! Also quitting smoking - well done, I did that at the same time too. Can't stand the thought of it now. I bet you feel great already. Glad my video helped. I'm no expert, but sometimes it helps to hear it from a human voice. Are you Aussie? Have you considered the retreat? I'm off to visit your channel now!

  • shelled hemp seed (or hemp hearts) is also a very good source of protein and omega-3. I use it on salads, cereals, rice, and within dairy free post-exercise protein shakes. I've also been following the Roy Swank & Jelinek diet religiously since my D/X in June 2011, and have added a no-gluten element as well. I don't think I've ever felt this healthy, even pre-M.S. I hope it sticks. I'll be sharing my vegan recipes in another channel (likely "waitwhatwasItalkingabout?". get it? :P ).

  • what u talking about!! you look GREAT

  • Hellooooo, now I have watched this a second time, just trying to take it all in. It makes a lot of sense about the fats and stuff. I was chatting with someone the other day about vit D3 and they said we can have good levels but our bodies don't absorb it turn it into the hormone we require. The supplements are apparently good as it is absorbed through the digestive tract. He convinced me (eventhough my blood test had normal levels) to give a supplement a go. Also good for the veins ;o) Kx

  • Exactly as I have found out, a bit late, but that's life.

  • @sandyCanada56 You should be able to get it shipped over if you order online... If you really have trouble I could buy you one and send it. There are other milks to try. I dodnt like soy at first either so i had rice milk for ages. Oat milk is nice too. But now I actually like the taste of soy. Gotta watch that GM stuff though - a lot of soy is genetically modified.
