So you dissed Canada. Happy now? Maybe we don't have a chance in the 4x100, but we still have chances in other races. Remember the race where Hayden tied Magnini for the gold in Melbourne? I'd say that was an amazing race. We've still got a chance. Anything can happen.

Brent Hayden swam this race with a serious back injury and none of the athletes in this race were wearing the Speedo LZR or any of the new "nextgen" suits. Take away Hayden's injury and give everyone a LZR, I'm sure you would have seen 4 or 5 guys go under 49 seconds and Hayden would have had a much, much better time. I think you are underestimating Canada's chances in the 4X100.

@Badgrafyx We're much more of a 4x200 country. Men and Women. We have like 3 solid 100 swimmers: Russel Collins, Brent Hayden, and Joel Greenshields. After that we kinda fall off the map. But we need 4 Brent Hayden's to get a medal in the 4x100 in London. We just don't have the power.

canada only has 1 swimmer that goes under 49, other countries like france, south africa, america, australia, sweden... the list goes on have atleast 4 if not 5 guys who go under 49. they even some that go under 48. canada can forget about winning a medal in the 4x100
