  • That's an excellent video you have, very nice. I had to get rid of the aggressive kenyi, I'm afraid. I had hoped that the new arrival would counterbalance some of his aggression, but it did not work out that way. The kenyi became hyperaggressive and hyperdominant, and tried to take over most of the tank, which was severely stressing the other fish in the tank.

  • I dunno, I would have removed him. Thats what I did with my Greshakei when he went hyper. This let my Kenyi and Socolofi rule the tank again. They are good leaders not killers.

  • WoW reduce the agression :) Whats up now in your tank.

  • your tank looks very small maybe thats just because you were only showing one corner this will cause high aggression though.

  • Whooah!! I am sure that I am too late but this will not work. You are just going to make things way worse. I can already see it in the video. You are going to have to remove the dominate fish. I am sure he is or will become hyper-aggresive or dominate after the arrival of someone new. I am curious to know what happened. Hope I am wrong, let me know.

  • oh by the way to settle this you should have got the auratus cichlid even though it gets highly aggressive or extremely aggressive.

  • For sure, nothing's beats down an african cichlid..lol, nice video 5/5

  • I love Kenyis . I had one I named Charlie that would attack your hand if you were doing maintnance, I had 135 gallon with lots of cichlids and hiding spots so the aggression was spread out. If you like fish with personality Kenyi are definatly on the top of the list!

  • wow i didn't know kenyis were that aggressive

  • so how did this turn out? check out my latest video of my african cichlid tank =)
