Brazilian Carnaval - Rio de Janeiro

This is a small sample of the Carnaval samba parade in Rio de Janeiro. It covers one out of the 14 parades to happen during two days and flashes of some of the other 13 parades.

I would love to upload an HD version of this video but youtube doesn't allow it without losing its view count and comments. So maybe in the future when they allow such feature, I'll do it.

I'm brazilian and I also think carnival is an amazing party, actually the most amazing one like it says in the video ... but ... the money put into carnival could solve many of brazilian problems .. public health system here is awful, if you dont have health insurance your fucked up, education is also a problem in brazil, poor teaching, badly-paid teachers and professors ... well I could go on about this the whole night if I were to point out all brazilian problems, but ...lets party!

exactly!! And I really don't get all this fuss about carnival. Carnaval the way it is nowadays in Brazil is only something to show to tourists and make the world think that brazilian women are sluts and the man are too entertained seeing their butts to do something useful. Besides, carnaval is NOT "the ultimate expression of what is to be brazilian". C'mon, I'm brazilian and HATE carnaval, and know A LOT of people that feel the same.
