These people are OK. Leave them alone.
We all follow many things in our lives that we don't even know we are following, even if they are musicians or Politicians or their Mother - or their dog.
At least they are making headway in life.
Not too sure about you though. You sound a bit disillusioned and unsure of things.
Their happiness doesn't revolve around the Maharaji - it revolves around their inner peace.
I don't know where you got the other idea from, mate.

maharaji turns people into doormats,his followers are weak minded before they follow and become much weaker the longer they follow him.
there is only one person that can make you happy.believe in yourself,learn from your mistakes and rectify them...you will become happier all the time...trust yourself.
your happiness should not revolve around this man.he's a good talker and has a beautiful way with words,suggestion and metaphors.
