  • Make fun of these systems and call them "Crutches" all you want, but the reality is that there's no human on the planet that could manage 4 independent brake pedals and 4 independent accelerator pedals that would be necessary to emulate what ESP systems do, not to mention all in a split second that these systems do it in.

  • Tiff Needel, no doubt a better driver than anyone on here, couldn't control the slide without ESP even when he knew it was coming... sorry, but driver aids ARE important in these extreme circumstances, no matter how good a driver you "think" you are.

  • @Oshawapilot I , personally, own a 2001 lincoln LS with all the toys ( ABS, DSC, Traction control , "advance-trac" ( ford system balancing speed and traction with DSC and ABS ), and I personally prefer to turn as many of the systems OFF as possible, even in snow and ice. To a good driver, these systems just interfere with the pleasure of driving the automobile. They are great utilities for people who NEED them, but for those of us who can drive without help... they are a nuisance...

  • @Oshawapilot yeah but at the same time it doesn't take a rocket scientist to avoid LOCKING those brakes and wheels... evenly applied pressure and a good sense of judgement will keep ANY driver safe from a situation that would need these systems to act for (them)... The saving grace is that in an accident or a random "incident" like unseen black ice, the systems do keep those of us who can't control a vehicle from making a bad situation worse. Speed and calamity are what kill drivers

  • what is name of song at 3:46 ??

  • This is impressive !

  • i HATE ABS, it doesnt let your tires "dig in" .. the only advantage is (if you can call it an advantage) is that youll have a head on crash instead of side impact ... plus it feels like shit and in winter it feels as it its holding your grip back

  • these systems are nice. I drive a car without ABS and thats reallly the only electronic aid i really want for it!.

esp well it has a bullbar and you dont swerve for things like kangaroos anyway, you line em up , hit em and keep on driving.

  • I drive a 1992 Volvo without any ABS or TCS or computers or anything like that. And its easier to get up the hills with than the modern cars with modern help systems. But when it comes to losing control at high speeds, I'd much rather drive a modern car...

  • Should've tried a VOLVO.

  • @bigray0007 same as me friend my last car had not esp i had a bad accident i am lucky that i have no serious injuries! a horse suddenly came out of woods and i skip it with the result of turning around my own axis and fell of from 7 meters high! really bad experience! my new car also have the latest esp system, and we must tell them all that these systems can save lives! believe us! we know better!

  • It's not camera trickery you bitch. Look at 0:46
